Annual Joint Base Easter Egg Hunt 87FSS Bowling Center Dix

Presented by 87FSS – and open to all DoD ID holders – at the Bowling Center Dix parking lot beginning at 12noon!
Hop over for the egg hunt with plenty of filled eggs for each child, goodie bags, prizes, candy, face painting, Easter Bunny, Easter Bonnet/Handsome Hat contest, petting zoo, arts & crafts, bounce houses, interactive games, and music! The Spare Room Lounge inside the Bowling Center is open with food and beverages available for purchase. Enjoy Bowling specials; shoe rentals $1 and games $1.
Transportation provided from FSS Fitness Center Lakehurst, Bldg. 123, to FSS Bowling Center Dix. Van departs 11am. Return transportation departs FSS Bowling Center Dix at 3:30pm!
Egg Hunt Categories (starting times approximate):
3 yrs. and under – starting at approx. 1:15pm
4-6 yrs. – 1:25pm
7-9 yrs. – 1:35pm
10-12 yrs. – 1:45pm
All egg hunting areas start approximately 15 minutes apart. Some families may have children in several age categories, so we request everyone wait for the “start” announcement in each designated area.
*Parents may assist children 3 yrs. and under in their designated egg hunting area. However, children must pick up the eggs, not adults. Adults are not authorized on the field in all other age categories. We encourage you to bring to the staff’s attention if your child requires additional assistance so we can provide them with the proper support. Staff and volunteers are hand to assist children. We encourage your full cooperation for the safety and comfort of everyone. Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket to collect your eggs and a camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny!
Easter Bonnet/Handsome Hat Contest:
Wear your most beautiful bonnet or handsome hat for a chance to win a pair (2) AMC movie tickets. Prize awarded for best overall bonnet and hat (one set of tickets for each gender). Winners announced after all hunts are completed; must be present to win.
